At last!

For reasons know only unto itself, this computer has not liked the photo of this tree?

It is indeed unfortunate for the computer (and the poor brain cell) because there will eventually be two more of them in the pipeline!!

Both fair means and foul were employed to achieve this almost perfect rendition of the original Moonlit Tree, which has finally achieved my approval......though whether or not anyone else is of the same opinion remains to be seen or, most probably, heard!

I am creating a Moonlit Magical Forest (of three!) trees and an Minuscule Owl, with a nod towards the set designs of Sidney Sime (1862-1927) and Frederick Caley Robinson (1867-1941) for Maeterlinck’s play, ‘The Blue Birds of Happiness’ (first published 1908, performed in Russia). However, I owe my inspiration to the Sime/Caley Robinson collaboration for the London production in 1909. 

So there will be Bluebirds...and maybe even Myltyl and Tyltyl might be persuaded to honour my woodland confection with their presence......
