I Had a Little Nut Tree...
I Had a Little Nut Tree...
Sunday, 1 September 2019
Well, not just one......but two!
Here they are, the long awaited Nut Trees...in Summer and in Winter*.
As anyone might expect, the Summer Nut Tree’s leaves cascade over the silver nutmeg glittering in the summer sun with its golden pear possessing a silky skin shimmering in the warm summer sun...
In Winter, although the leaves and fruits of the tree are long gone, the Little Nut Tree is not without colour, it wears a silky winter coat, with a rainbow glaze gleaming on its branches in the clear and frosty winter light.
Around the be-jeweled bases of the trees are their decorative crowns, protecting the tree roots from any squirrels eagerly digging for nuts. These decorative bases are, in themselves, complete patterns, they come in a suggested array of colours: 24ct Gold, 9ct Gold, Rose-Gold, Silver-Gilt, Silver and Pewter.
A Crown for all Seasons, no less!
