I Had a Little Nut Tree......on my Lace Pillow!

Now, it’s finished growing and is ‘off my lace pillow’......
The Silver Nutmeg and Golden Pear (with leaf) are again visible in their glory, having been hidden for quite some time under the Green Haze that is the interior of the Nut Tree. The outer leaves appear to part, as if revealing them to the world in all their glory.
Even the King of Spain’s daughter must surely be impressed with her pointy crown, that protects the base of the tree from any marauding intruders! It is indeed a very special tree, its trunk, as if by magic, appears to change colour as it springs forth from the Princesse’s crown......
As might be expected, such an impressive tree has quite an impressive cast of threads:
The Leaves were worked using Piper’s 80/3 Spun Silk and *90/3 Gloss Silk.
The Green Haze, the Golden Pear, the Crown and Tree Trunk were worked using Piper’s Floss Silk.
The Silver Nutmeg was worked using both DMC Fil d’Argent Claire and
Madeira Sticku Viscose no 30 Silver.
The Great Typing-up of Notes has already commenced in earnest, it’s no easy task, there are plenty of them to decipher and knead into workable shape.
Plan A is to publish the ‘I Had a Little Nut Tree’ pattern, along with the ‘Partridge in a Pear Tree’ and ‘The Pair of Pears’ as another set of related patterns and notes, most probably as a duo under the name of ‘Pear-Shaped’......but as with life, all things could change!
