September has been a busy month (apart from nudging the Hares Series closer to publication) the flight of the final Butterfly, signalling the squadron’s maiden flight into the outside world*, and the setting free of The Leverets** has meant that a tiny space in the corner of my brain could be filled with a new plan.

Not perhaps a totally new plan......just an extension of a small design created a few years ago, for a workshop, which had always been destined for expansion.  There’s nothing quite like typing up and re-organising notes to allow the odd brain cell to fester quietly in a corner.

This festering has so far produced the pattern for a somewhat unusual ‘Partridge in a Pear Tree‘ with also another pear flavoured scheme waiting on the back burner......

So!  When the Hares need time  to sleep, the Partridge’s bobbins quietly flap and rattle!
