One of the best aspects of attending a Lace Convention is that it’s possible to see an amazing variety of different ways to create holes! The arrangement of holes shown above were cunningly created by a super knitting designer Kelli Slack*, whose patterns were available from Black Sheep at Orenco** at the recent IOLI Convention held in Indianapolis.
I, like many lacemakers, delight in finding different ways to ‘Play with String’***, so this wonderfully clever beaded scarf pattern, with the wonderful Tencel yarn, also from Black Sheep ‘just’ found its way home with me. I’m absolutely delighted with my scarf!
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any bobbin lace made this month, but while knitting, part of the poor brain cell was freed up to ponder contentedly over the creating of The Leverets Trilogy! For which more notes still need to be typed up......and the pattern for the next project ‘just’ needs to be properly drawn up......
I really do need more hours in the day, but suspect that dinner for DH would still remain a hopeful figment of his imagination???

***My DH insists this is a technical term which can only result in the likelihood of dinner being either late or a figment of his imagination.
